PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Charles Tyrwhitt, “The Summer Event” Email Campaign
A visually engaging and strategically structured email campaign created for Charles Tyrwhitt’s “Summer Event,” designed to capture attention and drive conversions through a series of three linked email states: the open (hero invitation), mid (value reinforcement), and close (final call-to-action). The campaign blends crisp typography, breathable summer-inspired visuals, and clean layout hierarchies to reflect the brand’s refined yet relaxed tailoring aesthetic, encouraging recipients to explore seasonal offerings tailored for warm-weather sophistication.

Challenge
Charles Tyrwhitt’s seasonal promotions must balance sophistication with commercial urgency, elevating the brand’s polished, British tailoring identity while still driving high-volume conversions. For the “Summer Event,” the challenge was to create a cohesive three-stage email sequence that felt fresh and seasonally relevant without straying from the brand’s established visual language. Each email had to serve a distinct purpose (invite > reinforce > close), maintain clarity across devices, and present promotional messaging in a way that preserved premium brand perception.
INSIGHT
Analysis of previous campaign performance and customer engagement patterns showed that CT audiences respond best to clean hierarchy, straightforward value communication, and elevated lifestyle cues. Warm-weather customers in particular gravitate toward lighter, breathable visuals that signal seasonal ease, without feeling overly casual or off-brand. This informed the creative strategy: lead with aspirational summer tone, follow with clear value framing, and close with a direct, urgency-driven call-to-action. The insight revealed that subtle shifts in palette, spacing, and typography could evoke “summer” while still honoring the brand’s core identity.
EXECUTION

The campaign was developed as a three-part email journey, each state designed with a defined strategic goal.
Open (Hero Invitation): Introduced the Summer Event with a bold, airy hero graphic, high-contrast typography, and direct messaging to establish excitement and theme.
Mid (Value Reinforcement): Highlighted key offers and product categories through modular layouts, balanced spacing, and reinforced brand cues, ensuring benefits were immediately understandable.
Close (Final CTA): Delivered a focused, high-urgency layout with stripped-back visuals to bring attention directly to the call-to-action.
Across all emails, I applied Charles Tyrwhitt’s brand guidelines, refined typography, premium product photography, structured grid systems, while integrating subtle summer signals through color accents, breathable negative space, and seasonal styling. Each design was built to scale responsively, ensuring clarity and consistency from desktop to mobile.
HERO VERSIONING FOR CANADA
Impact
The final campaign presents a cohesive, high-performing visual journey that aligns seasonal storytelling with conversion-driven structure. By creating three distinct but interconnected email states, the design guides customers seamlessly from awareness to action while strengthening Charles Tyrwhitt’s brand equity. The visual system enhances readability, elevates product appeal, and reinforces promotional value without compromising the brand’s premium positioning. This piece demonstrates my ability to unite brand discipline, seasonal creativity, and strategic marketing design to support both engagement and sales objectives.
